I had so much fun spending a beautiful summer afternoon with the Boelkins family at their cottage. I love how the pictures turned out and I really enjoyed taking pictures of a whole family. It was great just capturing how they respond to one another. It helped that they are such beautiful people too!

So this might be my last digital color picture for a while. I left the digital camera at home because I am starting my black and white film photography studio class. My family has gone through a huge "old bike" phase. If you see six people that look alike on old squeeky bikes then you can know for sure it is the Stoffer's. I'm bringing this light blue one to school. Only one gear works, so I think I need to do a little tune up before I leave on Sunday.

Maura and I were at Oak Street beach the other day. We took a quick swim in the ice-cold water and then laid out in the hot sun. With the amazing city in back of us and the beautiful lake Michigan in front, there were about 20 minutes were I didn't have a care in the world.

Everybody needs things in there lives that take their cares away.

This is Lucy.

There is a great chance that she will be my family's first dog. Since she is a miniature dachsund, you can just swoop her up with one hand and hold her in your arms. I hope it works out and the pee on the rug doesn't leave a negative effect on my mom.

I've been taking piano lessons this semester and I love them so much. I try to practice everyday but always forget to. I went down to practice today and someone had used some worship sheet music to cover the ground from getting covered by red spray paint. I think it is kind of a cool image with the blood red spray paint and the amazing words that are in focus.
